Soundtrack for a 16 mm film. This disc is center start, with the arrow indicating where to place the needle to synchronize with the film. The complete soundtrack is two discs. International 16mm Pictures, Inc. was a distribution company started in 1931 by Rudolph Mayer, brother of Louis B. Mayer of MGM, with the intention of releasing “suitable talking-picture subjects for home, commercial and industrial use” (Kelly 1931, p. 508).

Tommy Christian was a moderately successful band leader from 1924 to 1935. Pep and Personality was one of two sound films featuring his band (the other was Howdy Broadway) (Rothstein 2019, pp. 4–5).
