A stereoviewer and cards designed to help salesmen present the models and color schemes for the 1955–1956 Pontiac Catalina. (There is another version of this viewer featuring GM Chevrolet cars that comes in a black case instead of the brown case for this viewer (Wangari 2026d)). The viewer is powered by two D-cells. Turning the metal knob on its side adjusts the focus. A second metal knob advances the card. The interocular distance can be adjusted using a knob on the front facing the user.
"GM Photographic" is stamped into the lower front of the plastic shell. GM Photographic was a division of General Motors established in the 1920s to document all phases of the design, manufacture and sale of GM cars (GM Heritage Archive 2026).
