The slide carrier holds 50 slides on an endless rubber belt. Turning the knob advances the slides. The slots on the carrier are a snug fit for cardboard Stereo Realist mounts; thicker plastic or glass slides are unlikely to fit. Additional slide carriers were available for purchase.

According to the instructions that came with the viewer the case is made of Royalite, a common thermoplastic ABS sheet (Wangari 2026).
